The Good Fight: Season 6
A Descent into Madness
Diane Lockhart's Struggle with Mental Health
In the sixth and final season of "The Good Fight," the stakes are higher than ever as Diane Lockhart (Christine Baranski) feels like she's going crazy. The season picks up one year after the events of the final episode of "The Good Wife," with Diane struggling to cope with the loss of her husband, Will Gardner (Josh Charles).
As Diane grapples with her grief, she also finds herself questioning her own sanity. She's having strange hallucinations and paranoid delusions, and she starts to wonder if she's losing her mind. To make matters worse, Diane's colleagues at Reddick Boseman & Lockhart are starting to notice her erratic behavior.
As the season progresses, Diane's mental health continues to deteriorate. She becomes increasingly isolated and withdrawn, and she begins to push away the people closest to her. She's even forced to question whether she's fit to practice law.
Ultimately, Diane's struggle with mental health leads her to a dark place. She's hospitalized and diagnosed with bipolar disorder. But with the help of her therapist and her colleagues, Diane is able to find hope and begin to rebuild her life.
