Boston Celtics Continue to Impress in Playoffs
The Boston Celtics put on a dominant performance in Game 1 of their second-round NBA Playoffs matchup against the Cleveland Cavaliers, cruising to a 120-95 victory.
Jaylen Brown led the way for the Celtics, scoring a game-high 24 points and grabbing seven rebounds. Jayson Tatum added 21 points, and Marcus Smart chipped in with 18 points and nine assists.
The Celtics jumped out to an early lead and never looked back, leading by as many as 30 points in the second half. The Cavaliers struggled to keep up with the Celtics' high-octane offense, shooting just 38.5% from the field.
With the win, the Celtics take a 1-0 lead in the series. Game 2 is scheduled for Tuesday night in Cleveland.
